Cyber Security-Engineer I at FICO:

The Security Engineer role is important and focuses on protecting cloud and service edge systems. It requires strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM). The main aim is to build a secure and standards-compliant environment. The engineer will also work closely with other teams to guide and manage IAM systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing IAM and IGA tools.
• Deploy Identity Threat Detection & Response (ITDR) and Non-Human Identity (NHI) solutions.
• Automate identity tests and policy reporting using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for IAM tools.
• Provide engineering input on security tools that support IAM.
• Collaborate with teams on architecture, implementation, pen-testing, and security reviews.
• Stay updated on emerging IAM technologies.
• Support compliance and certification processes.

Education:

security-related education/background expected.

Experience:

• 2–4 years in a security role, preferably in financial services or technology.
• Experience with AWS/Azure, Okta, Active Directory, privileged access tools (CyberArk, SailPoint).
• Working knowledge of protocols like SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust, CI/CD, IaC, and DevOps practices.

Required Skills:

• Cloud IAM knowledge (AWS, Azure).
• Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools.
• Automation and scripting (e.g., Python, API integration).
• Identity protocols: LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OIDC.
• Understanding of security frameworks: PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST.
• DevOps and CI/CD pipeline familiarity.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications: CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, Azure SC-300.
• Experience with Okta and Zscaler.
• Strong knowledge of Identity Governance.
• Familiarity with non-human identity security concepts.
